• Company selling virtualized infrastructure to enterprise clients.
• Our job is to automate the process of selling infrastructure in an automated way (previously they were doing this manually).
• I had a big impact in building the project’s architecture with designing and developing it.
• While my main job was developing REST API services to help the UI team in developing fast the front end of the product, I also had impact in doing some DevOps tasks (we had no oìcial DevOps in our company) like: setting up CI (using Jenkins), CD (making use of GoCD), setting up log management across the project (we started making use of the microservice concept, so that made it a bit interesting to collect logs) using Log Insight (a VMware product).
• Java technologies: Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, *unix server, making use of Docker.
